They report on sales or shipments in units and dollars/euros, as well as bookings in units and dollars/euros. The individual input from all manufacturers is consolidated and market totals are reported. Results for individual manufacturers are not published. This information is kept confidential. In addition to the quarterly reports, an annual report looks at 12 end-user segments and their consumption of the 8 types of switches, the sales channels used, and a finer geographic breakdown of each region.
